Most of you may know this, but those who don't, there is now a way to get your credit report for free once a year. Go to
AnnualCreditReport.com.
Although you are eligible to get this only once a year, you have the option of staggering the report from each of the 3 credit unions (Experian, Transunion and Equifax). So if you select to get your report only one report at a time, you can get 3 reports at different times in the year.
